Business start-up guides for local cities

Regardless of what business you want to open, one of the first things you need to do is file a DBA ("Doing Business As") listing with the Orange County Clerk-Recorder. Access instructions on this process here.

Then, you need to check the city you want to start your business in for their new business requirements. Many cities in the South Orange County area do not require a business license, but most require at the very least some paperwork, often including a Certificate of Use and Occupancy and Doing Business As (DBA) registration.  Choose the city you are interested in setting up in for more info, or if you are interested in a city that is not listed, email me, and I will add it to the list.
